Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Madhya Pradesh

In order to maintain a youthful profile of the Armed Forces, approximately 60,000 personnel retire every year at a comparatively young age. Some of these soldiers become martyrs in defending our nation, and leave behind their young and grieving widows. The welfare and resettlement of these personnel and widows have been accepted as a national responsibility, keeping in view the services rendered by our officers and jawans in safeguarding national interests. I appeal to the business community and to Captains of Industry to employ this highly trained, disciplined and professional manpower of the Armed Forces, and thereby enrich not only themselves but also the nation by tapping this unique human resource talent.
